Flapping Squirrel Tail

The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues - (the real) Elizabeth Taylor

A Farewell

He passed away more than a week ago, but I found some Robert Altman quotes on Esquire that I really appreciated:

"When people ask for advice, what they're really asking for is help.

I'll give you the same advice I give my children: Never take advice from anybody.

You can't know it all. You don't have the time.

I'm not very smart about money. I don't know much about it. I certainly don't collect it, or save it, or store it. And I might regret it one day. But I don't think so. I've always felt that I could survive some way."

I really identify with the last two quotes. I feel them both almost constantly. I liked Mr. Altman quite a lot. He will be missed.

Nice quotes. It is sad that he's passed but I am not sure if maybe the reaction it created was worse:
