Much Better

Interesting last few days. Simon has been at the vet's since Friday morning, but I will finally get to pick him up Monday. He had a severe case of pancreatitis, but he's all better now. It's been very odd and disturbing not having the little fuzzball around. So I rearranged and after I did that I got the hell out of here.

I am over, thankfully enough, the shithead I spoke of in the last blog. You're thinking, gee that was quick. Well no. As my poor long-suffering friends all know, it's been a long time coming and this was the last gasp. The last hump, so to speak.

Today I met up with a guy I used to date. I drove down to his place and then he drove us to the pier at Redondo where we had a very nice seafood lunch and a nice long walk by the ocean and watched the newest storm rolling in. We talked about his latest failed relationship and then about my latest failed relationship. Commiscerating together can be a very therapeutic thing, of course...

And let's see...ah. The very hot guy at work asked me out. It all happened very quickly. He just asked me out, just like that. So Friday afer work. Just what I needed at just the right time.
